Traffic counting service

Our organization has pneumatic equipment of traffic counting, that serve to carry out traffic engineering studies.

We have the modality of equipment rental or the vehicle counting service with which the following results are obtained:

  • Vehicular classification, vehicle flow.
  • Determination of the time of maximum demand.
  • Calculation of the punctual speeds at the capacity site.
  • Calculation of average weekly daily traffic.

PROMODEL

It is an application focused on the simulation of processes, it has a wide flexibility because it allows to represent different situations, for example, the operation of a passenger transport terminal, a production line, a maritime terminal with cranes, the operation of a parking lot, even the operation in the aeronautical area of an airport.

In addition, it allows to make diagnosis of the current situation, as well as the evaluation of planned improvement actions in order to evaluate which is the best solution. It achieves this through data analysis, the product of the interactions that are generated when a simulation is performed.

It specializes in the following areas:

TRAFFIC PLANNING

A regional transport model where the mobility of passengers and freight is represented by the flow of vehicles in a network. The main goal is to determine the amount of vehicles in a new road with different payment rates and infrastructure scenarios.

TRANSIT PLANNING

Transport model that represents the mobility of passengers into metropolitan area over a period of time that represents the maximal demand conditions in terms of load. The purpose can be the diagnosis of public transport services or the evaluation of new service modes.

ROAD IMPACT

Evaluate side effects on vehicle traffic caused by buildings, road construction, real estate development or any construction work. The primary aim is to reduce negative effects on pedestrian and vehicular flows.

COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS

INTEGRATED PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE URBAN MOBILITY

It aims to meet the mobility needs of people and goods by improving accessibility for all types of users, promoting the integration of the different existing modes to reduce distances and travel times, through the design of an efficient public transport network and the use of non-polluting vehicle technologies.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SIMULATION

We have created a simulation model that represents the aviation movement in the current Mexico City International Airport, this ability allows us to simulate any air terminal with analysis possibilities such as:

- Evaluation of the allocation policy.

- Evaluation of different taxiway layouts.

- Determine the points of conflict in the area configuration of the aeronautical area.

DRINKING WATER

Drinking water modelling in order to create a diagnosis for each element in the supply system (water catchment, pipes, tanks, distribution network, pump stations), if necessary we can establish an action plan for improving the system. These models can help to assess operational policies, build new infrastructure and changes in the supply system.
